Volunteer Track Rangers

Volunteer

Vision

Our Volunteer Track Ranger program aims to provide an exciting and rewarding opportunity for people to become involved with and work with our park rangers, staff, visitors right across Victoria. Open to anyone 18+ whom has a passion/experience for the outdoors, hiking, camping and becoming closer to natures beauty or just a desire to experience new found places across Victoria. If your future career aspirations are to be employed in this field then this opportunity will hopefully convince you however if you just want to experience our parks through volunteering then come join our program, we guarantee you will not find an opportunity like this anywhere else in Australia.

Goal

Volunteer Track Rangers are stationed at some of our most high visited parks across Victoria during long wk end periods. Being a shorter time commitment ensures the program is open to everyone. Your role includes providing park users & visitors with information or updates, assisting our Rangers, basic maintenance, park surveys, flora and fauna monitoring and other duties as required. Our goal for all our Volunteer Track Rangers is to not only experience these environments but also hopefully encourage you to return to Victoria's open spaces and explore more.
