Vision


1.To play a significant role in preventing the extinction of the “vulnerable” Hooded Plover on the Mornington Peninsula by actively participating in the conservation programmes of Parks Victoria and BirdLife Australia
2. To collect data on birds, nests and chicks for Parks Victoria and BirdLife as part of the existing management strategies of both organisations.
3. To capture the interest and commitment of the public to saving the Hooded Plover through a diverse range of activities and educational programs.

Goal

Through our various programs, in conjunction with the guidance and support of Parks Victoria and Birdlife Australia, to enable a long-term, secure and viable population of Hooded Plovers on the beaches of the Mornington Peninsula.
