Please meet the Ranger at the Big Rock Picnic Area. Once you enter You Yangs Regional Park from Branch Road, drive approximately 760m along Turntable Drive. Turn left onto Big Rock Road. Follow the road to Big Rock Picnic Area.
This Junior Rangers activity is designed for primary school aged children.
Join Aboriginal Rangers and learn about the importance of Country to Aboriginal people.
A certain level of fitness is required. The walk has a slight uphill incline. Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather. Please bring drinking water with you as there is no drinking water available and insect repellent. Flushing toilets are located at the meeting point. The walking track is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs.
All children participating must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is over 18 years of age.
Parks Victoria Community Programs and Events are suitable for families. Activities may be rescheduled,
changed, or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
