Parking is available at Stony Point Ferry Terminal (Stony Point Jetty, 1 Stony Point Rd, Crib Point VIC 3919, Australia)
The return ferry to Stony Point is at 1.05pm so why not pack a picnic lunch and explore the island a little more.
There is also the option to come from Phillip Island, arriving at 9:30 and departing at 12:15 or 2:35pm. Please see details on the Western Port Ferries website.
Toilets are available at Stony Point, on the ferry or at Tankerton Jetty.
This activity will require walking up a short steep grassy hill and continuing to walk along a grass track.
It is important that you are prepared for this activity with adequate food and water for the time you will be on French Island. A reminder to wear hats, close-toed shoes and plenty of sunscreen. Check the forecast and be prepared for wet weather. The only food and drink available nearby is at the French Island General Store, a 3km walk from our starting point.
Please note, that the ferry does not run in all weather, therefore, if the winds are strong, the activity will be cancelled. This will be decided the afternoon beforehand.
All children participating must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is over 18 years of age.
