Meet at Kurth Kiln Picnic Ground. Corner Soldiers and Beenak Rd, Gembrook.
Enter via Soldiers Road and look for the Junior Ranger sign.
This Junior Rangers activity is designed for the whole family to attend.
Dating back to World War Two, Kurth Kiln was built to produce charcoal as an alternative fuel to petrol which was heavily rationed because of the war. Use your super sleuth skills to find objects in this historic site. Can you find them all?
Parks provide homes for nearly 1000 different native animals species. Discover what these animals need for a healthy habitat and learn what you can do to prevent these animals from becoming homeless
Please note that the Beenak Rd bridge is closed and is unsafe for pedestrian access. Please DO NOT try to access Beenak Rd via Gembrook Launching Place Rd.
